Cary's room

Hi! My partner and I are looking for a roommate or two for move in mid-to-late February. We are looking for like-minded, Leftist, community focused folx in the same age range as us, ideally.

About the house: located in southeastern FoCo near Fort Collins High School, it has three bedrooms upstairs, excluding the primary suite which is where we will be. 3,100 sq. ft. with a mostly finished basement that we’ll be utilizing as a game room/additional community space. Nice front and high fenced backyard, with plenty of community gardening space! Plus a fire pit!

About the rooms/cost: all of the bedrooms are upstairs, so we cannot accommodate for wheelchairs and other similar mobility aids, unfortunately. They are near identical rooms, across the hall from each other. One has a western-facing window, the other faces east. The eastern room is slightly larger than the western room. We currently have three dogs and would prefer to not have other pets like dogs or cats, however pets that are small, easily contained/held, and/or kept in your room are perfectly fine. My name is Cary, they/them, I’m 30, queer, poly, and Indigenous. I’m a welder by trade, but I enjoy making art. I’m a huge nerd, I play a few different ttrpgs. I have two dogs, a blue heeler and a blue heeler/border collie mix. Very high energy, very loving once they get used to you! We are actively working with them but they’re not the quietest as a heads up.

My nesting partner’s name is Julia, she/they, 29, queer, poly, and Jewish. They currently work as an executive assistant, but they are passionate about plants, specifically focusing on exotic houseplants. They have one dog, a rescue. He is a very anxious but sweet, so he won’t come up to anyone until he’s comfortable with you. A big scaredy cat!
