About the room
I recently purchased a townhouse on the west side of Baltimore and I am interested in renting out the basement. The one-bedroom and one-bathroom unit is unfurnished, but it does come with its own living room and separate entrance through the parking area in the back alley. The tenant will have access to the full kitchen and living room upstairs. Currently, there is no washer and dryer in the house, but I plan to purchase one soon. In the meantime, there is a 24-hour laundromat just 10 minutes away and the Marc train station is located only 5 minutes in the opposite direction. The neighborhood is family-oriented, and the neighbors are quiet and respectful of each otherβs privacy.
About the roomies
Hi there! I am currently a full-time student at Bowie State University, and I also work full-time through my own business. On weekdays, I am typically occupied with classes and work from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. I am a tidy and reserved person, and I would prefer a roommate who shares the same values. When I am at home, I usually spend my time studying or watching TV. I am not much of a cook, so the kitchen is all yours if you need it. For my own comfort, I prefer a roommate who is also a student or working full-time and between the ages of 22 and 35. Please note that all serious applicants must undergo a background and credit score check, which requires a $25 fee.
