South Emerald Avenue

Cozy 2 bedroom apartment in Bridgeport, I’m looking to rent the larger of the two rooms with a closet space. The apartment has two bathrooms, one half bathroom and one full bathroom with a shower only. There is also a small sun room with big windows and lots of light. I just moved here from Texas so the place doesn’t have much furniture yet. I did get a couple tables, chairs, a lamp and a couch (that I cover to keep from getting too much pet hair embedded in the VELVET) Close to a park, library, coffee shop, thrift store, centered between Halsted Orange Line stop and 35th White Sox red line stop (15-20 min walks, 6-10 min bike rides) and many delicious restaurants. Laundry on-site in the basement. The property management company, has an application process that you will need to go through to be added to the lease, including a background check and submission of proof of income. It’s a $50 application fee. I welcome you to stay a month and see if you like it, my pit bull boxer doggy, Zoltan, he’s older, 14 years old now, he’s high strung and has anxiety so we have to work with that, looking for a dog person. Polly, the small brown one is a cuddle bug lap baby. (Posted a couple pictures of him with my last roomie, Jackie, that was a medical student that was such a sweet awesome and amazing person!!! So happy to have met her! (( I met her from this website! )) !!! I currently work at a dog kennel part-time and hoping to get some research work as a Field Interviewer, which is what I was doing for work previously in Texas. I make art and write and I’m an avid reader (always like new book recommendations) like to have drawing and movie nights! I’m kind of a no frills cook but have fun cooking up a recipe and having dinner together sometimes! I don’t drink, I do smoke weed but quit cigarettes, so please no smoking cigarettes in the apartment.

39/fluid person, I like reading and films, spending time with my dogs and friends, riding bikes and swimming. I’m clean but not antiseptic and live with my two dogs, Zoltan (Tangy) 14/Pitt-boxer and Pollywog (Polly) 9/terrier-chihuahua mix, so looking for a dog person. I’d like to screen some films in the back from time to time, so I’m open to someone who doesn’t mind small gatherings of people. Women or LGBTQIA+ people preferred, respectful men only. I am disabled and receive SSDI so any disabled folks hmu. I am also open to switching rooms and renting the smaller room for $400.
