Julia's room

Our house is huge and sunny with lots of windows, hardwood floors throughout, and fully furnished aside from the room up for rent. The room that would be your bedroom was just fully repainted less than a week ago and includes a spacious mirrored closet. We are situated in a gorgeous Hawaiian-themed neighborhood in Arcata with lots of beautiful murals on many of the nearby houses. We are tucked away on a private street, but only a 2-minute drive from downtown. There is a bus stop right at the end of the street. The water & trash bills are included in the rent, so the only bills are Internet & PGE, which we split 3 ways every month. Washer & dryer on site, which is always a plus! Driveway parking spot for you. Fenced large deck area. 6-month lease that transforms to a month-to-month lease after that.

Pets considered on a case-by-case basis. Just keep in mind that we already have 2 small dogs and 1 cat living here!

Hello! We are Julia (29, she/her) and Finley (21, they/them), two students looking for our third roommate! I (Julia) am a psychology grad student, while Finley is a senior at CalPoly studying social work. Another student or young professional would be a perfect fit! Our hobbies range from reading to writing to cooking to music. We are both friendly and enjoy having roommate nights where we watch movies or have dinner together. The house is kept clean with our weekly chore chart.
