You must be 55 years or older as this is a senior complex. This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath manufactured home. There is a pool that is heated from about april through october. There’s an activity room that’s not the best, and a clubhouse that can be used for parties although they do not allow alcohol. You will most likely need to sign up on their lease if they require that.

You will have the master bedroom; it has one wall length closet and one closet in an alcove, along with a small vanity with mini-drawers. The master bath has one sink and a shower with a shower massage. You will have your own parking space right at the steps to the front porch; it’s partly covered. You can use the BBQ and electric smoker. There is some space in the carport for some of your items but they will not be protected by the weather so beware of that. There’s a good storage facilty nearby you can call for rates L Street Storage.

We’re in the process of refurbishing the flooring and painting the inside of the master bedroom. You’ll have access to the common areas.

The small bedroom is mine & my husbands but we live on campus so we’re rarely there. My adult, college-aged child may come by to do repairs if needed.

I’m fine with one small dog or cat but you must have renter’s insurance. There is a garden that I can keep there if you would like to tend to it as well as an older indoor/outdoor cat if you would like to feed it. He comes in and out of a very small kitty door, so if you have an indoor only pet, you will have to figure something out. You can walk a dog in the complex on leash only and you must pick up after your dog.

The master bedroom has a king sized bed, mahogany, and a dresser. You can use these or if you want your own furnishings that’s fine, also. The rest of the house is decorated and there is plates, etc. Stove, oven. There’s a porch; you can add a table and chairs or whatever out there if you want to. There’s a washer/dryer in the kitchen. There is a/c units in each room, and a heater but we rarely use that. There’s also a desk with drawers in the livingroom you can use.

If you’re looking for a place with lots of action, this is not for you. You’ll be on your own most of the time. You can go swimming with the neighbors, etc., but this isn’t a wild party complex. It’s seniors. We’re very close to the new resort coming in 2024, and the bay. Bike to both. Trolley station is very close; walk to it. Imperial Beach & Coronado Island are driving about 15-20min. Everything is close here. There’s a mall, lots of restaurants, stores, you name it.

My husband and I are seniors. He works and I’m a full-time student & artist. We’re casual, do not have OCD. As I said, we’ll be there from time to time most not much.
