One open room (unfurnished) on first floor of house available for $700. It is adjacent to a full bath that would be shared w/ one other room on the first floor (which has been recently been claimed someone who will be moving in on 11/1).

Move-in by November 1st, or anytime in October.

The place is an LGBTQ+ friendly house in South Minneapolis and is very charming (I have the 3rd bedroom on the second floor w/ its own bathroom). There is central AC/heat, fiber internet, a fenced-in backyard, hot tub, basement storage, garage, washer & dryer in the basement, new kitchen appliances, and huge bay windows in the living room. (Shared spaces are partially furnished. I own some of the furniture in the pics. But open to storing / selling if you have your own furniture!)

The neighborhood is lovely. We are less than one block away from 46th and Chicago where there are lots of shops, restaurants & cafes (Herbie Butcher, Pizza Biga, BaGu Sushi, Pumphouse Creamery, Sovereign Grounds, & Turtle Bread Co are some of my favorites), as well as The Parkway Theater, Town Hall Tap, The Sidecar cocktail bar, Ken & Norm’s liquor store, and a bus stop on the METRO D line. McRae Park is a block and a half away and includes tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts. Minnehaha Creek is also a few blocks away and makes for a lovely area to go for a walk etc.

All utilities are tenant responsibility, and over the last 2 years have an averaged ~$130/month per person with three people. Tenants are also also responsible for shoveling and mowing.

I am a 33 y/o male, and a working artist (mostly work from home). I have a 30 pound, 18 month old dog who is well-trained and super friendly. More dog friends welcome! (Cat friendly too!). The housemate moving in on 11/1 is a woman also in her 30’s and recently moved from Portland, Oregon.

I am pretty quiet, clean, and chill. I enjoy watching film / TV, going to breweries, video games, rock climbing, tennis, reading, playing board games / chess / MTG, woodcarving, puzzling, live music, having friends over, dog adventures, etc. I deeply value a lot of leftist ideals and would likely struggle to share a space with someone who is apolitical or on the political right.
