About the room
Hello! My name is Bella and I am seeking a housemate in Palisade, CO. This beautiful, cozy home has a backyard, great natural light and is a comfortable walk from downtown Palisade. The home has two bedrooms and one bathroom and you will also have access to a small private office. The room and office are both furnished and come with a bed, mattress, tables, a desk and desk chair. Unfortunately, since there is already one dog in the house no other pets are allowed. The landlords for this property are incredibly lovely people, and do everything they can to keep the house and yard looking and working great. I am hoping to also build in some raised beds this fall for a garden next year. The house has heating and a swamp cooler as well as in-unit laundry. There is also a large outdoor shed that can be used as storage. There is absolutely no smoking allowed on any part of the property.
For a housemate, I am looking for a like-minded person who is easy going and is excited to bond as housemates. I am a very community oriented person, and seek similar people to live with. This is a perfect opportunity for other young professionals who also work from home and can utilize the private office space. While I am a fairly calm and quiet person, I am also very friendly and seek a housemate who shares a similar mindset. I am also very open to traveling healthcare workers.
Rent is $1000 per month and includes all utilities with the exception of internet which will be an extra $40 per month. You can sign either a 6 month or year long lease, with possible changes for traveling healthcare workers.
Feel free to get in touch through email to stop by and see if this is the right fit for you!
About the roomies
A little about myself. I am a young adult who works as a community organizer for a local conservation non-profit. I do work from home, while also representing my organization across the Grand Valley. I love to garden, cook, hike and spend as much time in nature as possible. I have a 16 year old dog named Drake who is a 35 lbs shepard mix. I travel for work often, and I usually ask family and friends to watch over my pup while I am out of town. I am also an avid baker and often make breads and other treats for my housemates to share.
