About the room

The Apartment: Top floor, spacious, and insanely underpriced apartment right off the Green C-line available starting October 1. The apartment is hardwood throughout, with lots of windows to let in gorgeous sunshine year round. There are two bathrooms between four bedrooms, with a large and cozy living room, eat-in kitchen, and a guest bedroom/study. There is also a spacious deck off the back of the apartment that is shaded and lovely in summer. The landlady is very kind and super responsive.

Easy access to Boston via the T stop located just steps from the building front door, and walking distance to BU, BC, Simmons, and Longwood. Situated along Beacon at the Brandon Hall T-stop, equidistant from Coolidge Corner and Washington Square, and prime location for park access. The only major downside is that there is no laundry in the building.

The Room: The room is big and gets gorgeous sunlight with beautiful views over Beacon.

Move-In Costs

Security Deposit + Last Month’s rent paid to roomie who is leaving. Monthly rent is 775$/month, paid to landlady.

Heat and hot water are included in the rent. Electric, cooking/stove gas, and WiFi are split equally.

Ideally you would sign on for a lease until next summer, from then it can optionally be renewed.

Ideally, you are… Non-smoking, non-pet owning Considerate and clean, especially about common spaces Able to communicate about issues as they arise in a respectful and adult way

We think this will be a great fit for young(ish) professionals or grad students who want the best of all worlds (access to everything wonderful about Boston and Brookline, low cost of housing, and excellent flatmates), and are willing to lean in to maintaining a collaborative housing situation.

If this sounds like a good fit for you, please respond with the word ‘greenhouse’ in the subject line so we know you made it this far! Tell us a little bit about yourself and what you’re looking for in a living situation. We’ll be doing first round virtual visits soon!

About the roomies

We’re an open and friendly bunch of women in our twenties and thirties, looking for someone who’s going to be a good fit with the existing personalities in the household and who will be just as happy here as we’ve all been! We skew slightly more introverted, and also all have our separate interests and lives, while still being friendly with each other. We do enjoy the occasional shared dinner, movie night, and book swap. We also work to maintain good communication and keep the apartment a happy, comfortable space to live.
