Tom's room

Looking to share my beautiful house in Kuliouou Valley, located in East Honolulu near Hawaii Kai. You would have your own private bedroom with a full closet. Across the hall is a high-end bathroom that I just renovated, including walk-in shower and skylight. The toilet/shower/sink would be entirely for you, although the laundry room is attached and would be shared. We would share the kitchen (incl. new appliances), living room, and home office spaces (with ocean view!). The backyard features a garden with many native plants and mature avocado and dragonfruits, and an incredible view of the whole valley, surrounded by forest. One parking spot available inside the garage, which has an automatic door (small SUV or sedan/hatchback, anything larger and you may need to park on the street). This is a quiet residential neighborhood, you can walk from the house to the Kuliouou Ridge Trail, and 5 minute drive to Koko Marina shops. Utilities are included. One small dog lives in the house.

It is just me and my dog on the property. I am a 33-yr old male, I’m a working professional, and I enjoy working in the garden, hiking, and playing sports (currently into running and frisbee).

Although there are technically 3 bedrooms, I am just looking for one roommate to avoid the house feeling crowded and because I sometimes work from home in the third bedroom, which is functioning as an office. My main criteria is finding someone clean and who will respect the property: I put a lot of work into making the home beautiful inside and out and I want to keep it that way. My dog is usually hesitant around other animals, I would consider another small dog moving in but not a cat. I like sharing meals and cooking/cleaning duties.
