Hello! I purchased my first home this fall, a dream come true! Seeking one woman identifying roommate to join myself and one other roommate for one of the 3 bedrooms in this lovely Midcentury Ranch-Style Home. Move in would be ideally after May 4th!

It’s a big house with a gorgeous stone, wood burning fireplace, hardwood floors, washer/dryer, dishwasher, covered patio, and spacious fully fenced backyard. House is fully furnished, but bedroom will be empty and ready for your things. Utilities are split evenly!

Room is 10x8, with a shared bathroom.

Roommates: Myself - Sasha, (33), Sabrina (25), my small energetic pup Maybe, and my cuddly cat Baloo.

We are a fairly conscientious and try our best to be respectful of each others schedules and sleep time. Mostly keep to ourselves but are social in the shared spaces.

Cleanliness: We like to keep the common areas of the house fairly clean, which looks like wiping down counters/stove and loading up the dishwasher etc. after cooking, and not leaving dishes out and about for more than a day. Sharing a bathroom entails cleaning hair from the drain after each use, wiping down counter/sink if we make a mess, and doing a monthly clean (we trade off). Let’s chat about sharing any cleaning duties, I want to be fair and equitable! Mostly just hoping to find someone who is good at cleaning after themselves and has a similar level of cleanliness as us. Admittedly there is some clutter that accumulates and goes away, and I am vacuuming pretty regularly (once or twice a week) to battle pet hair!

Ideal Roomy: Loves cats and dogs but does not come with any pets (sorry, we are full up), works full time, is fairly clean, a good communicator (not afraid to state their needs/boundaries), but who is fairly laidback and easy going. Issues will arise at some point, but as long as we can bring them up in a non-violent way without blaming, we can resolve anything without harm. No hate, no bigotry. Other than that, be yourself and that is wonderful!

Will be asking for references and past two bank statements.

About me: I was recently laid off mid January so I am home a lot during the day working on side projects for Tabor Dance and my own events. I have a lovely boyfriend who comes over a few times a week, I like to bike in good weather, and have board game nights on occasion! I am also a DJ, but won’t practice at times that we have agreed upon (you are sleeping, studying or need quiet time). I often stay out fairly late on the weekends so there will be some noise when I come home on those evenings (not yelling or being obnoxious, just using bathroom etc.) I’m fairly extroverted, but enjoy my alone time and space as well. Ideally we can communicate about how much socialization we need or don’t need and can respect each others boundaries! I don’t smoke often but don’t mind if you do as long as tobacco is outside. Most weeknights I am in bed by 11pm ish. Overall I tend to be in a good mood most of the time, like to have a sense of humor about things, and generally enjoy the company of others! Other than liking things to be clean, I am pretty laid back about most things and am flexible.

Sabrina: Sabrina is very laid back, keeps to herself but loves to chat if you catch her in the kitchen making ramen or popcorn (her favorite foods). She is also very flexible in the amount of socialization that you prefer and is respectful of space sharing and boundaries. She likes video games and hanging with her girlfriend Kat who comes over a few nights a week as well (she is lovely).
