About the room
Wanting a beautiful place to call home? Upstairs unfurnished rooms for 1 year or more lease. Bedroom is large enough to be part bedroom, part office, and part reading area.
New windows are installed throughout. Ideally I would like one person, but I am open to a couple as well.
Downstairs has a furnished, shared living room, dining room, and kitchen. The unit is air conditioned, has a new dishwasher, large refrigerator, stove, and microwave. A fireplace and a large screen TV downstairs create a comforting place to relax. A two-car garage provides storage and a washer and dryer. Open parking spaces are next to the unit as well.
I love living in this area! Our complex, with pretty tree-lined streets for walking and running, has two pools, two hot tubs, and two tennis courts . This end unit has a grassy area behind the fenced-in patio and tall hedges beyond for privacy. There is also a large grassy area with trees on the side of the unit. The walkway to the door has a small courtyard, too.
Downstairs floors are tile, stairs are newly carpeted and upstairs floors are wood. Bathrooms have been updated with new sinks and counters. In the upstairs hallway is a desk area with cabinet storage and a place for a printer to share.
We will equally share Republic Trash, SDGE, Netflix and other apps, and Spectrum Internet.
Included are photos of how the downstairs rooms are decorated - beach/coastal themed - in my current unit. The new unit is being renovated before move in.
About the roomies
Iʻm looking for a peaceful/joyful home environment with kind, respectful, good communication skills, clean, organized, calm, and considerate roommates. I do not drink or smoke, not 420 friendly. I try to eat healthy, and have an affinity for dark chocolate. I am a retired high school teacher with three adult children, two grandsons, and extended family and friends. I love the ocean, sunsets, and being in nature.
I am sensitive to smells so I need someone who can respect this with no perfumes, colognes, or strong chemical/cleaning materials.
I have a college age daughter and an adult son who will alternately stay with me in the third room 1-2 nights a week (Sunday and Monday nights) as I complete multiple myeloma treatment. Iʻm handling my healing treatments very well, but feel better if they are here with me. I may have other friends come to support me.
