THE SPACE: A chic, modern, sun-soaked townhome outside German Village, just three blocks from Schiller Park. The condo is roughly 1500 sq ft, and amenities include floor to ceiling windows, jack and jill bathroom + additional half bath, office, large closets, new washer/dryer, dishwasher, plentiful free street parking, abundant plants, and balcony overlooking beautiful trees. It’s as dreamy as it sounds.

THE VIBE: I enjoy my living space to be on the tranquil side. This is a dinner party—rather than a house party—kind of place. Please be respectful of noise and clutter, leave shared spaces clean & tidy, and don’t smoke. I’ll do the same. I also enjoy being warm, so if your thermostat is in the 70’s, we’ll probably be a good fit 😊

Lastly, I have a sweet tuxedo cat who is a little dramatic, so additional pets are on a case by case basis.

My name is Alissa, mid-30’s lover of interior design, yoga, and meeting friends for walks in the park. I’ve had numerous roommates over the years, and some have become my best friends. I WFH (but my office is in NYC) and am looking to rent out my extra bedroom because living alone can be boring, and also because I’d like more flexibility in travel—I’m hoping you’d be willing to take care of my sweet, dramatic cat while I’m away.
