About the room
Private bedroom in a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath apartment in Pico Robertson area. The apartment is absolutely stunning, we have lived here for 5.5 years and never want to move! Itโs a 1,600 sq ft unit on the second floor with in unit washer dryer, central AC, hardwood floors (carpet in the bedrooms), wet bar, balcony, electric fireplace, and tons of kitchen space. The building itself is very quiet and the neighbors are friendly, some young people and some families.
Neighborhood lovely as well and walking distance from parks, convenience stores, restaurants, coffee shops, and a local dive bar. It feels very safe to walk around here as a young woman. Itโs also very central in LA so easy to get around between all of the different neighborhoods.
About the roomies
My roommate (29) and I (28) met in college and have been friends for over 8 years! We are looking for someone to move into our third room as our current third roommate wants to live closer to her family.
My roommate and I are constantly โfightingโ over who is the funniest person in the room between me and her, so there is rarely a dull moment when we are together (we are two Sagittarius women after all). We love spending time in the communal space, but also respect when the other needs alone time to โrotโ. I spend most of my down time in the living room, while she spends most of it in her room.
I work in the music industry and she works in business management (she is also an amazing singer and songwriter who pursues that passion as well). I currently work from home and she is on a hybrid schedule. Outside of work my interests are: vintage shopping, reading, yoga, watercoloring, cooking (I cook A LOT), adventures with friends, traveling, concerts, museums, anything cute and fun. Her interests are: night life, working out, making music, trying new bars and restaurants, reading, scary movies, binge watching tv, anything cool and wild.
While we both have pretty busy social lives, we like to keep our apartment a lighthearted, relaxing, homey, warm space. Occasionally we will have friends over for game nights or snacks + wine + gossip nights, but given that our building is very quiet we donโt host large gatherings.
We like to keep our main living space clean, but also understand that sometimes life gets in the way! We view taking care of our apartment as a communal effort and pitch in to its maintenance equitably.
We have cultivated such a loving, supportive, funny, girly environment in our apartment and are hoping to bring in someone who wants that as well!!
