I have a fully furnished room, including utilities, WiFi, free laundry room, shared bathroom. It is in the hot, walkable Hawthorne neighborhood.

It is available for short, medium and long term stays. The rate for long term is $835, for nine months or more, but I do have shorter-term stays at a higher rate, especially for people coming from out of town who need one to six months.

This bright, comfortable room is fully furnished, with a full size (double) bed, lamp, built in shelves, desk, desk lamp, chair, closet with hangers and a locking door. All you need to supply in the room is sheets, blankets, pillow and towels, and for short term stays I provide them.

The house itself is hosted and is just 1.7 miles from PSU and 2.8 miles from OHSU on the hill and 3 miles to OHSU South Waterfront. It is located in the beautiful Hawthorne neighborhood and only takes about 3 minutes by bus to get downtown.

The house includes the use of the kitchen and laundry, living room, big backyard and super reliable CenturyLink Gigabit Fiber WiFi 6 Router/Modem. You have your own space set aside in the cupboards and fridge. Just help to keep the kitchen and other common areas and your room clean. The house itself is a clean, quiet and no drama house.

The neighborhood is VERY walkable and you don’t really need a car here. If you have a car, there is free on-street parking. The Walk Score is 95 out of 100. Restaurants and shops everywhere! It is very residential and leafy! Hawthorne is a very hot in-demand area. The post office is just a few blocks away and a big new grocery store just opened up 5 blocks away. And a large grocery store, Safeway, is 18 blocks away and they can deliver if needed.

I am seeking a tidy, respectful, friendly, communicative, and easy-going person to rent a room here. I don’t want a party house or tons of guests and please no drugs. I endeavor to keep a quiet home setting and a great place to live.

The rate for this room is $835/month, with utilities and everything above included. The deposit is $300. This is for stays of nine months or more. If you are wanting it only for a short stay, please inquire for rates.

Please have a steady job with a history of rent payments, or liquid assets to cover the rent. Also, no evictions, a decent credit rating and no criminal record. And I don’t have pets here and prefer to have a pet-free environment.

I am the host and am basically just a business person who is also interested in sports. The other folks in the house are both long term and short termers. They work at various jobs, including remore jobs and are quiet and very nice people. There are no drugs or parties here.
