East 2nd Street

Hey! We are looking for a new roommate to join us in our East Village apartment. Someone just backed out of lease last minute, so we are looking for someone else to sign a NEW oct 1st lease for 1 year minimum.

It’s a flex apartment with a kitchen and bathroom that were renovated in 2020 with new appliances. Heat is included in the winter and the three of us cover electric and gas. We’re on the second floor so it’s one flight of stairs up. Roof is accessible! The F is a twelve minute walk and we’re a two minute walk from multiple bus lines. There’s a pool and a gym across the street and of course, we’re close to any kind of nightlife or food you want!

The room is small, but can fit a queen bed in a pinch hamburger style. The two south facing windows get amazing light! Our roommate who’s living is willing to sell the large wardrobe that’s there now. I used to live in this room and it was super cozy- perfect for someone who doesn’t need a ton of space and needs to be downtown.

We have to find someone who is willing to sign a 12 month lease, so absolutely no subletters- sorry! Landlord requires 40x your share of the rent, good credit and proof of employment. Utilities include wifi and electric and it usually between $70-95 per person/ per month.
