Ford Avenue

The master bedroom is quiet and lightfilled with a new queen bed, a table, chair, dresser, and 2 closets. The house, built in 1938, has been completely remodeled. Newly finished hardwood maple floors throughout, new gourmet kitchen with all stainless appliances, high end maple cabinets, with lots of storage. The dining and living rooms have coved ceilings, there’s new plumbing, electrical, and paint throughout. The living room has a woodstove that can heat the entire house if necessary and with the doors open and fireplace screen in place, a crackling fire is very cozy on those inevitable gray fall and winter nights. The backyard is fenced with rock retaining walls. There’s a fire pit with covered seating and a greenhouse. Olympic College is 1.3 miles away. The ferry dock to Seattle and the rest of the world is 12-15 minutes from here. There’s a 25 acre forested park 5 minutes away with wide, well groomed walking trails. We’re up high on a ridge and the view from the front porch is panoramic.

I’m an artist and film producer and live downstairs with my cat Joe. I have my own bathroom, bedroom, office, and studio. We would share the upstairs but I’m mostly interested in the kitchen and the backyard where my prototype lab is located. I’ve cohabitated with room mates before and when it works it’s delightful. I’ve lived and travelled outside the U.S. for 12+ years mostly Europe and SE Asia. I’m well educated, well adjusted and lean toward Taoism and Tibetan Buddhist thought. I also understand the meaning of the words respect and personal space. My daughter will graduate from law school next year, I really like to grow things, travel, cook, tell stories, and write screen plays. I’m independent emotionally and all other ways, compassionate, and paitient. Speaking directly is my preferred reality.
