About the room
Our Alameda Victorian has a park-like garden where we grow food and create interesting spaces. We enjoy shared meals occasionally. This is on a very safe and mellow street with good neighbors and street parking, close to Transit, Park St. dining and shopping, entertainment, South Shore Shopping Center, and the beach. This 11β X 14β room has a closet, a south-facing window, and quality furnishings (or you can bring your own).
About the roomies
K 68, he, him, originally from Southern Japan, is semi-retired but taking a break from work as a sushi chef. He is an avid pickleball player, loves all kinds of sports, and would enjoy company watching games. When we barbecue, heβs usually the grill master and the consummate host extraordinaire. He also keeps the garden looking tidy, and the house in good repair. J 65. she, her has a small hair studio in the back and sells clothing and antiques online, and at The Katz Meow Antiques on Park St., She is a bit of a Renaissance woman, who enjoys cooking, gardening, sailing, travel, sewing, craft projects, tinkering and inventing things, Middle Eastern dance and drumming, LARP, and hosting friends at barbecues and parties. K 28, she, her, our daughter living with us since the start of Covid, is a creative cook and has newly discovered the joy of gardening and is transforming our front garden with organic veggies and herbs. will be moving off-grid soon.
