Beautiful Room in top floor apartment in Old Victorian Mansion built at the turn of the century that was converted into 3 apartments. Everything is completely and the home is in the North End in of Tacoma overlooking the Bay and surrounded by million dollar homes and mansions. The bathroom is shared, but there is a door directly off of the room that goes into it. The room has brand-new oak wood flooring and several windows that makes the room very bright. There is also a large closet in the room. There is additional storage space in the garage or the attic that was originally used as the maids quarters. Apartment has a large living room that will be fully furnished with a large sectional and 85“ T.V. with Roku sound bar and speakers. There is a nice kitchen with all appliances and a Bistro-Style Table. Also, Brand-New Front loading washer and dryer. Bedroom has its own entrance in the hallway directly after entering apartment, which includes its own lock. We don’t have any pets presently, but will be getting a Dalmatian puppy by the end of the year. One dog or cat is fine, but there would be a $300.00 Deposit and an additional $25.00 monthly rent. The master bedroom is at one end of the apartment and the room available is at the other end, which makes the apartment very private for roommates. If interested we would be happy to send you the address of the apartment so you could go check out the area and the home the apartment is in .You really have to see the area to truly appreciate what an awesome neighborhood it’s in. Parking would be on the street. The home has a very nice yards and the yard maintenance is paid for. The room would be $700.00 month and utilities would be split 3 ways. WiFi would be free as well as water and garbage. The security deposit is $500.00, but we can work with you on this if necessary.

My name is Brad and my partners name is Mike. I’m semi-retired, a young 63 years old and my partner Mike is 50. I own my own business in the Electric Vehicle Field and also occasionally drive for Uber. Mike works for Tacoma Community College and works at night (5om - 2am). Mike mostly sleeps until late morning/early afternoon. He is involved in a lot of various projects and activities so is rarely home. He works Sunday - Thursday and has Friday’s and Saturday’s off. On his days off he mostly is at home, but spends all of Saturday’s with his family. Brad generally works mixed hours. Either from 5am-2pm or 2pm-12am. Brad spends most of his free time at home and has a lot of different hobbies. So for the most part we are not home a whole lot, but do enjoy being able to have an occasional BBQ and watching movies. We both do spend a lot of time in our bedroom when at home. Unfortunately, there is only 1 bathroom (large) so we would just work around that with our roommates schedule. That should not be any problem. We are both gay, but are both very straight acting and not involved in the gay-scene at all. Neither one of us smoke cigarettes, drink, do drugs, but we do vape. Smoking would be okay as long as it is done 25 feet away from the property. We both are very easy to get along with and have absolutely NO drama in our lives. We just live really laid back and try to be very organized and always being progressive in life! We get along with most people and like to be treated with the same kindness and respect we show others. We spend a lot of time alone together and are trying to find the same in a roommate. We definitely don’t want a homebody that lays around and doesn’t work. We’ve never had a roommate before, but we are trying to save money to continue building for our retirement home. The apartment we are leasing with an option to buy. Either way if we don’t buy it we don’t plan on moving for at least a couple of years. We would like to find a roommate that is looking for at least a place for a year. So, we would be basically subletting to you. We could either do a year lease or go month-to-month. Whatever your comfortable with. Neither one of us are big cooks so the kitchen would be available most of the time. The apartment doesn’t have a dining room, but we will be buying a small bistro table for the kitchen. We like to go on an occasional “BnB” trips for 2 or 3 days every few months. We both have many different hobbies and activities. Mike is starting stained glass, works out a lot and is involved in various activities in the Catholic Church, but is by no means a religious fanatic! Brad is Seventh Day Adventist and attends Sabbath every Saturday morning. We truly believe in “live and let live” We are also non-judgemental and get along well with many tyes of people. Brad enjoys working out on his machine (looking to buy a Tonal Machine for garage), photography, Criquit Machine Projects, Computers, breeding English Budgies and spending time with friends. We both live a pretty busy and active lifestyle and we are hoping to find a roommate that stays busy and is progressive in life also. We won’t be moving into the apartment until around the weekend of September 28th. However, we will be finalizing everything on Friday, September 8th so anyone wanting to move-in would be able to move in that Friday the 8th of September. The apartment however will be vacant of furniture and things until we move in on the 28th.
