Looking for a great place to live in Highland Park? We’re looking for a roommate for a recently remodeled 3-bed, 1-bath apartment. The apartment is conveniently located near 57th 2 blocks from Figueroa, within walking distance of grocery stores, shops, restaurants, bars, the Gold Line (A Line) Station, and Debs Park.

The room is $1,000 and the move-in is date October 1, although the room is open now and we could prorate it for the right candidate. The first month’s rent + a $1,200 deposit is required for move-in and you would be taking over the lease from the current tenant. The room also comes with onsite parking so looking for a space is never an issue. The dimensions of the room are 7.5 x 16 feet. Utilities are split evenly among the three roommates, which usually amounts to around $60 per month. Currently, we are on a month-to-month lease.

The apartment is newly remodeled and has beautiful hardwood floors throughout the entire space. It comes with fantastic amenities, including a pool, in-unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, a/c/heat in each room, split-level heating/cooling unit in the living room, and full-size bathtub. The room has a large closet with and an overhead storage area and lovely natural light in morning.

There are two people here now: 30’s queer woman and a cis man in his 40’s. We enjoy hanging out or going out occasionally but also mostly appreciate having our own space. We’re seeking respectful and communicative individuals who proactively pick up after themselves in common spaces. We’re hoping to find someone who is an open communicator, mature and looking to help create an enjoyable living environment for everyone. Responsibilities are shared, expecting whoever lives here to contribute to the household needs without the need for chore wheels or other formal ways of keeping track of it.
