Das Haus Guesthouse is a 3500 sq ft, 5 bed, 3 & 1/2 bath home owned by Karl and Angela. Please Note: We’re very near the Methodist Health Center in The Woodlands (NOT in Conroe proper). Our room #4 features a new Sealy Posturepedic queen bed, quilt, backlit curio shelf, computer desk and chair, smart TV, and a ceiling fan. The “Old World” dresser and matching nightstand are unique import pieces purchased about 15 years ago from Pier 1 Imports. The closet is a single room sized walk-in. You may pick from our quilts and comforters for your queen bed. The room includes bed linen, nightstand, computer desk and chair, wall-mount smart TV, curio shelf unit, and a ceiling fan. • All our guestrooms: Queen size beds with an attractive bedspread or quilt and bed linen, new memory topped Sealy Posturepedic mattress or 3“memory/gel foam mattress toppers, work stations, wall-mount smart HDTV’s, dressers, nightstands w/table lamps, closets, ceiling fans, and keyed door locks.
• There are two nicely appointed, full bathrooms upstairs and they are kept clean and fully stocked. A half-bath is also available at the base of the stairs.
• The upstairs lounge dining area has a dining table, full-size fridge with icemaker, microwave, convection/air fry oven, instant pot, waffle iron, and coffee maker. There is a filtered water beverage faucet next to the fridge. We provide disposable plates, bowls, cups, salt, pepper, etc. on the counter. We assign space in the pantry shelves and in the fridge to you at move-in.
• The upstairs lounge also has a seating area and is a great place to eat, read, or just kick back and relax.
• Solid WiFi, 1 Gigabyte service from our fiber optics ISP. Residents may print direct to our multi-function copier/printer available on WiFi.
• Laundry room is off the 2nd floor hallway, a utility sink, steam iron and ironing board are all available.
• A exercise/workout area in the upstairs lounge is equipped with a quality treadmill, abdominal crunch/back extension workout bench, chrome dumbbells with 150# of plates, a recumbent bike, and a Teeter brand inversion table.
• The home is equipped with radiant barrier technology in the attic and uses identical 2 & 1/2 ton Carrier HVAC units for upstairs and downstairs. The upstairs doesn’t run hotter than downstairs in the Houston summer heat like in a lot of two story homes. We also run a dehumidifier that helps condition the air from the Houston humidity.
• Monthly costs for electricity, gas, water, trash, fiber optics internet service, Hulu Live, ESPN, Disney+, and NetFlix streaming all are included in a single, fixed-price room rent.

There are 4 bedrooms and 2 hallway entry bathrooms upstairs. Everybody is a working professional. Folks we rent to relate to each other in a warm, mature, social way. Karl and Angela live downstairs in the master suite.
