About the room
Fully-furnished room available, immediately, in the Historic United Shoe Machinery Historic District, just a stoneβs throw away from the Cummings Center.
Room comes with a single bed, two bureaus, entertainment center, three windows and two closets. It is a corner room, providing a wonderful cross breeze during the summer months.
Rent includes heat, hot water, electricity, gas, and access to kitchen, living room, south facing sunporch, brand-new washing machine, private driveway, free off-street parking, backyard, front yard, picnic table, outdoor grill and front porch overlooking the Upper Shoe Pond and all the wonderful wildlife it has to offer.
In September of last year, our Shoe Pond across the street garnered international attention, when seafaring Shoebert the Seal visited our fresh waters before he waddled to the Beverly Police Station for transfer back to salty waters.
Within walking distance to Stop & Shop, Henryβs Market and many popular Beverly restaurants and offices at the Cummings Center, including dozens of doctors/dentists offices, new Police Station, US Post Office, as well as multiple beaches, Beverly Golf and Tennis Club and the Bass Haven Yacht Club.
Close to public transportation: buses, MBTA and Routes 128, 95, 1, 62 and 22. Numerous beaches, a popular downtown, Beverly Hospital and the new Beverly Police Station are close by. Nearby are Salem, Danvers, Peabody, Wenham, Hamilton and Manchester-by-the-Sea.
Non-smoker preferred, but one roommate smokes on front porch. No marijuana nor any drug allowed on premises.
About the roomies
At the moment live with two male roommates, one is my brother, a Shaws manager, and the other an Amazon driver. I work in major events/security in Boston. I am a graduate of Northeastern University. Looking for someone to move in ASAP. Must be clean and tidy and pay rent on time. Non-smoker preferred, smoking allowed on front porch.
