Private one bedroom located on the second floor in a large house shared with three others. Shared bathroom with one other tenant that also lives on the second floor. Onsite free washer and dryer. Large deck overlooks a grassy backyard. Dedicated parking space for each tenant. Shared access to living room, kitchen and dining room. Very close to many amenities

Lease description

  • Annual lease required.
  • Landlord pays for electricity, internet, water, sewer and garbage service. Tenant is responsible for cable.
  • One dedicated parking space per tenant.
  • No smoking in the building. Tenants may smoke on the backyard deck.
  • To move in you will need first monthโ€™s rent ($800), last monthโ€™s rent ($800) and security deposit ($250): $1,850.
  • Pets: One small dog less than 20 pounds or a cat allowed. Additional $50 / month and $100 refundable security deposit. You must pick up after your pet and keep it under control at all times.
  • This is an upstairs bedroom, so you must be respectful of the tenants below. Quiet time is 10pm to 8am.

Screening Conditions:

  • To be considered you will need to pay for a screening report which costs $40. Respond to this ad, and I will send you an application. Alternatively, I will accept a recent (less than one month old) comprehensive reusable tenant screening report from a consumer reporting agency.
  • The screening report must state the criminal and eviction history as well as outstanding debts and credit rating. No criminal convictions or evictions within the last seven years. Monthly debt payments must not exceed one monthโ€™s rent.
  • Prospective tenant must provide two months proof of after tax income that exceeds 3 times rent.
  • Provide two work references from current and former employers. If self-employed, provide three references from existing customers.
  • Provide rental references from the last TWO rental residences.

About the roomies

This is a four bedroom house. Two men live on the first floor, and a woman lives on the second floor. You would share the bathroom with the woman on the 2nd floor. She works remotely from her room. Of the men on the first floor, one is a cook at a local restaurant and the other is an author who works from home. All have been living in the house for over a year.
