Gloria's room

This lovely little 3 bdrm craftsman was built during WWI and has had some charming updates, including archways, new windows, new kitchen and new bathroom. Washer/dryer are new too! I bought the house over a year ago and have been slowly turning the grass into a garden.

Only one room is for rent and it is the largest main room with a walk-in closet. Utilities and internet included in the $875 cost (utilities/internet runs about $300/month all year so good deal!!).* 6-month lease to begin, month-to-month after. New-ish full-sized bed and spare furniture can be used per request, though it is basic so your own furnishings are welcome. The room is your private sanctuary, however the living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, laundry, garage, and gardens are shared with me and my kitty. We share a full bathroom though it has two sinks so you will have your own “side”! There is a shared 1/2 bath (toilet/sink) as well. Mix of private and shared cupboards in the kitchen. Access to garage for additional storage & street parking.

No T.V. though sometimes shows, podcasts, or music on the lap-top comes out. No smoking allowed indoors and alcohol is ok, but kept to a minimum. Healthy, healing, creative vibes :)

*May discuss options for a couple if it is right (would be higher price+util).

Hi! I’m Gloria, the owner. I’m an educator and artist in my 30’s with a friendly, mostly-outdoor cat. My job, personal life, and projects keep me busy but I also love to root at home, too….especially in the Fall/Winter! I enjoy good times, but keep things mindful and peaceful at home. The room for rent is big, but it is a small home, so it is important that the two of us communicate well about needs and changes, are respectful regarding visitors, and collaborative in taking care of the shared space.
