This apartment is very centrally located in Central Gardens in a quiet neighborhood. You are a 10 minute walk away from Kroger and a 5 minute walk away from the nearest coffee place! The property is a shared, two-story building that is one of the oldest in the neighborhood. The porch is what sold the place for me. It is like having an extra room for the apartment!

• I am currently a renter at this location and am looking for a roommate (preferably female) to share the rent. The price listed is for those who can commit to 6 months or more. Please be prepared to share a credit score and proof of employment that shows you can cover the rent. Bills are not included in the price. Right now the only bill I have is for MLGW, which we would split.
• I like to keep a tidy apartment and have put in quite a bit of work already to get this place looking nice. I’m looking for someone who also likes to keep a neat place and is comfortable with having conversations about cleaning schedules for the shared spaces.
• I do not smoke and because I have asthma would not be able to share a home with someone who smokes because even residual smoke smell on clothing will bother me. Drinking is fine, but I wouldn’t want to live with someone who brings the party home without discussing it first.
• There will be a cat at this place! Please do not apply if you hate cats or are allergic :)

Lastly, about myself: I am a young professional who is relatively new to Memphis (2 years). I am generally pretty chill and do my best to be a kind person who is considerate of others. I like making art, being outside, going to estate sales, and watching movies. Sometimes I even like cooking. You can often find me listening to a podcast while putzing around the apartment.
