Lots of privacy in a quiet environment. Small house on a big lot, located on a dead-end road, in a wooded area of Voorhees, NJ. Very spacious back yard with grill. Walking distance to hiking/biking trails. 5-minute drive to local shopping and less than 10-minute drive to public transit/PATCO station Lindenwold, NJ. About 15-minute drive to i-295 and NJ Turnpike.

The room I am renting out is 10ftX8ft9in. My last roommate was able to fit a queen size bed, a dresser, and a table for her tv. I would say a single or full bed would be a better fit for the room size. The area you can hang your clothes is located directly outside the bedroom door. This would be your main closet/storage area, and you can hang a curtain or whatever you’d like as there is no door to the closet area.

There is a small bathroom, living room, kitchen, and unfinished basement which are all communal areas. The house is furnished (other than the room for rent). Laundry is located in the unfinished basement.

I like to make sure things are put away and the house is cleaned regularly. I have the expectation that my roommate will help clean the communal areas listed above on a regular basis. We can tackle these tasks together or assign tasks accordingly.

You are NOT expected to help with yard work, but shoveling snow in the winter is a shared responsibility.

Utilities are included in the rent price listed (electricity, gas, water, wireless internet, oil for heat in winter, and lawn cutting). There is no cable TV.

I am not a drinker, but I do smoke weed on a regular basis. I smoke in my bedroom, but can smoke outside for a roommate who may find the smell bothersome. If you do smoke weed, I am ok with you doing it the house. I do not smoke cigarettes and would ask that any cigarettes be smoked outside.

You are welcome to have house guests as long as they are respectful, and you are considerate of the times they are coming and going. The price listed is for a single housemate, so please no couples.

I would prefer no pets, but will consider smaller non shedding dogs.

I am a single homeowner living in Voorhees, NJ. In my free time I like to be active outside, relax & watch shows, or get things done around the house.

I have a dog, Theodore, who is a 2-year-old bichon frise/poodle mix (twenty-two pounds). He does not shed and loves attention. He is allowed on the couch.

I work as an office manager and am away from home Mon-Fri, 7:20am-6pm. I have a dog walker come to the house around 1pm when I’m at work.

I am a mix of social and private. I definitely need my alone time to recharge, but I would love to live with someone who is open to a friendship and spending time together when appropriate.

I am not a drinker but I do smoke weed on a regular basis.

I am not in a relationship but have an occasional overnight guest. I keep this to a minimum, and would ask that my roommate do the same.
