$563/month until the end of October.

$617.50/month starting November. (The property management unfortunately ups the rent every November.)

Utilities range in price each month, depending on how much electricity is used. Comcast internet is currently $35/month.

MOVE IN COSTS are as follows… Non-negotiable (sorry)

Paid to me: First and Last Month’s rent, plus a Refundable Security Deposit.* ($563 + $617.50 + $500) We can sign some sort of separate agreement if you would like, so you have proof you paid this to me. I also have a receipt book.

Paid to the property management: $50 application fee. I can give you the name of the property management when we meet if you have questions for them.

*I already paid a $1,025 security deposit when I moved in, so I am asking for a little less than half from you. You’d pay your half to me, not the property management. I can show you proof I already paid this, if you would like.

You will have to apply to be a tenant through the property management. I am sorry that this cannot be bypassed per what’s written on the lease. It will take anywhere from a few days to a week to be approved or denied, but no more than a week. They will deny you if you have any criminal or eviction history. I am unsure if they require you to make a certain income, but it is possible they will. Calling them before you apply will be the best option.

• 2 story/2 level apartment

• Extremely spacious!

• Pretty landscaping in complex

• Cool, community stray guard cat protecting us in battle and from evil spirits, as is tradition.

• My badass warrioress cat protects us on the inside, as is also tradition. No sign of the little mushroom people of Nova Scotia, though.

• Private, spacious bedroom

• Spacious closet

• Big bedroom window

• Stackable Washer & Dryer in-unit, additional laundry room on-site

• Dishwasher

• Full size fridge

• Oven, with stove-tops

• If we end up getting along, you can use my appliances and cooking tools (microwave, blender, pots, pans, utensils, bowls, etc.) Or we can use our own separate stuff too. There is limited kitchen storage. I have my own towers set up.

• Small, shared storage unit on site

• Your own carport (shared, only if I get a car) + additional resident & guest parking + street parking in a residential area

Being on the same page and getting along is key. So I’ll write about myself and what the atmosphere is like here. If this also sounds like you, too, then feel free to respond about yourself. You’re welcome to respond, even if you feel like I’m not an ideal roommate, but know I will not change who I am for anyone other than for myself. I don’t expect you to change who you are either. Let’s find a common ground.

If you want to get to know the person writing this post, here is that information. I also included what the atmosphere is like in this space:

I am a PolyPansexual part of the LGBTQIA+ community, with ties to (platonic) Naturism, in respectful, consensual settings. (You do not have to ever take part in this, I just want to be upfront with who I am.) In addition, I am a laid-back pot smoker/420 friendly. I smoke flower and enjoy occasional aromatherapy on premises. I don’t ever want to feel limited to being myself, so these are things that will not change about me.

You are free to choose if you want to live with a roommate that is like me. (I will not put up with bullies and bigots, however.)

This is a free spirited atmosphere. Lots of chill nights in. No fighting. No drama. Just soul laughing and coexisting in the same space as one another.

Preferably looking for a long term roommate I can get along with. I am not the party type, but I like to relax with a bowl, good movies/binge worthy TV shows, music, or [board] games. I’m introverted, yet sociable. If you like good music and good vibes, we will get along. We can be introverted and alone in our separate rooms, too. I’m thinking about getting into yoga and dance, so I might be in the living room horribly butchering those things as a noob.

While there’s more about me than just this, I feel like what’s mentioned is something worth mentioning in the beginning stages. I don’t want to waste anyone’s time.
