I have a room available in 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath home in beautiful, highly sought after Madison Park area. It’s a lovely neighborhood, quiet and very safe. Rent will be $1100, bills included. It’s 2.8 miles away from South End, 4.1 miles from Uptown and nearest light rail station is only 0.5 miles. Park Road Shopping and Freedom Park are also super close. House is located on a beautiful, green .34 acres, has one car garage if you want to store items and plenty of parking as it’s near a cul-de-sack. I have two super friendly cats, Charlie and Pistachio, so no other pets. It’s shared bathroom and a half bath but I am sure we could make it work. I am paying majority of the bills and slightly more of the rent for this reason. If you work from home or have hybrid schedule, one of the rooms can be used as office. House is mostly furnished, except the room you will be living in. I have a spare mattress no bed frame or other stuff for the second room.

Lease is due in May 2024 so staying until the end of May would be ideal. I am going to be looking for a place on my own after that. If you are in transition, moving to Charlotte for the first time and want to figure out things in between, it’s a great opportunity. House will be available starting the second week of September. I am 37, was born and raised in Turkey, lived in the US for about 9 years. I have been in Charlotte since December 2020. I work for nonprofit, M-F, full time in the office. I will start working a second job in the evenings starting from mid September and I will be pretty busy. I don’t really drink or party, I go to bed somewhat early and occasionally go out at night. I am into yoga, healthy eating, mindful living and try to spend plenty of time outdoors. My ideal roommate would be someone in their late 20ies and 30ies, with full time job, stable income and maybe similar schedules, interests, someone who loves cats, friendly, reliable and responsible. Hopefully someone who outgrown their party phase or keep it occasional. I am not a cleaning freak but like to keep the house somewhat clean and organized. Preferably minimum over night guests but you are more than welcome to use the backyard for your guests for grilling and hanging out. I don’t have family in the US and don’t really get overnight guests so you will be mostly with my cats and be adopted by them.
