Small discount of 100 dollars is available for light garden upkeep. No additional pets possible, but must be comfortable with dogs in common areas. No smoking on the premises, no partying on the property. This is pretty much a quiet, responsible household although you will hear the sound of dogs when visitors come. My 29 year old son and his two dogs live in another part of the house. He is a commission artist but supports himself walking dogs, housesitting, and providing companion services to a disabled adult. He may also be hosting an international student from TCC, but we do not know all the details yet. Hence the background check is necessary. My son has had one as well.
