Offering 2 rooms to rent starting November 1! Looking to fill the two smaller rooms in a 3br 2.5 bath house in South Austin! 5 minutes from Southpark Meadows, 7-8 minutes from Sunset Valley, 15ish minutes from Downtown

I’ve been in this house for 3 years now so most of the shared space furniture + kitchen things are mine and will be staying. I had a cat that recently passed away and my current roommate has a small dog that will be leaving with her so open to small pets! Not sure how well a big dog would fit in the space but would be willing to have one.

One of the rooms is slightly larger than the other one so rent is reflective of that. Smallest room is going for $675 and larger one is $700. The two smaller rooms do share a bathroom. Utilities usually run at about $150-$175 per month give or take. This includes electricity, water, Wi-Fi, and washer and dryer rentals. Parking would be either on the street or on the other half of the driveway. The driveway is very very steep so depending on the car you may or may not be able to park on it. There is a garage we use mostly for storage at this point but I used to park in it when there was room. Our Landlord is absolutely amazing. Any time there is any kind of repair or issue she will come over within a day or two to fix it. If it’s outside of her expertise she will call someone to take care of it very quickly. Honestly couldn’t ask for a better Landlord.

I’m in my late 20s and have been a nanny for 5+ years at this point. I work anywhere from 4-6 days per week with constantly changing hours. Outside of work my hobbies include reading, playing board games with friends, and studying for an upcoming career change.

I’m ideally looking for someone who has good communication skills, likes to keep a fairly clean house, and is pretty laid back. Looking for someone who is okay with keeping a cleaning schedule. I’d love to be friends with whoever moves in but would also be okay with a friendly roommate situation.
