Small room for rent at 50 E Bowery in Newport, RI. Located in a neighborhood behind the Tennis Hall of Fame. Very easily walkable to Salve Regina University, Cliff Walk, Stop & Shop / CVS / cafes and to Thames Street / downtown.

We’re planning to have the room furnished with a single bed, dresser and a table/shelf of some kind. But for the right tenant, we can also have it unfurnished. The room is small. A double bed will fit, but a single bed may be best to not take up too much room.

Rent includes all utilities, including Internet. Unrestricted street parking available in front of the house.

We’ve got a cat, Rafael. Small pets will be considered.

Full basement and we can make some shelving space available for storage. Laundry available in basement.

We’re two very easily going, chill, but busy husbands. We both work in non-profits in Newport, and enjoy a mix of being out and about, enjoying adventures, etc, but also enjoying our chill time at home in the living room. We have a third bedroom that we use as an office / guest room. We do occasionally have family or friends come stay at times.

We’re looking for a housemate who is ideally out of the house a lot, and also easy-going, tidy, kind, and respectful of a peaceful sanctuary at home.
