Apartment is furnished, the room is not! You would be CO-SIGNING the lease renewal with me :)

This apartment has everything! ⁃ Washer and Dryer in unit ⁃ 1000 sq ft ⁃ Dishwasher ⁃ Elevator ⁃ Tub ⁃ Pull-out sofa bed for guests ⁃ Gigantic south facing windows ⁃ A reading nook ⁃ A bonus room (it is too wide to be a hallway but too narrow to be a room) ⁃ Storage in the basement ⁃ Above a pilates studio ⁃ Heat is included (gas is not but National Grid consistently costs ~$9 each a month) ⁃ Subways: 2,3,4,5,R within a block and A,C,F a 6 minute walk (I know right?!) ⁃ 7 minute walk to Brooklyn Heights Promenade, 10 to the Brooklyn Bridge Park ⁃ 8 minute walk to Trader Joes (there are 4 grocery stores within that same walking radius) ⁃ 420 friendly ⁃ A cat named Adelaide! 🐈😻😸

Who I am:

I’m Sparkman! I’m a 30 year old bisexual woman working in commercial film production. I work from home Monday and Friday but go to the office Tues-Thurs. I like to keep the apartment tidy and would prefer to hire a cleaning service 1-2x a month to help keep the apartment CLEAN 🧼 ✨ Things I like: ⁃ Burning Man ⁃ Crafting ⁃ Self-care routines ⁃ My cat ⁃ Jam Bands/Live music* ⁃ Being outside

*Heads up! I play the Grateful Dead, Phish and Goose in the apartment often. If you actively dislike these bands, but we will not be a good fit! If you DO like these bands, get in here, do couch tour with me. If you don’t care, that works too!

I strive to build a safe, relaxing, inclusive, loving & tidy home that is a relief to return to. I have fostered beautiful friendships with previous roommates because we were a team that built a home together ❤️ We are also friends with the LGTBQ neighbors who live in the other unit on our floor! So you’ll be joining a mini LGTBQ building community of sorts 🌈❤️

(If you do not care for cats this will not be the best fit) ⁃ *** Able to get approval from our landlord to CO SIGN a 1 year lease. Which means credit check, proof of income, guarantor most likely ect.

***Disclaimer - the days of going out to bars, bringing a squad of people back to the apartment for afters, letting a friend pass out drunk on the couch and cleaning up all the beer bottles around 4pm the next day are OVER for me 😸❤️🌈✨ Power to ya if that’s your vibe! But that is not the vibe of this home 🙏🏼 I will always run it past you before inviting a guest to spend the night or having friends over to hang out. I need to find a roommate who will do the same. This is our home, and our tranquility and peace of mind comes first.
