We are looking to fill a vacant room in our duplex.

About the house:

In the Boise/Elliot neighborhood, within a block of New Seasons. It is an absolute dream if you love having a neighborhood full of bars and restaurants within walking distance - we certainly do. 3 bedroom, 2 bath, built in 2002, 1,328 sq ft indoor, 2,613 sq ft lot, new appliances, hardwood floors, dishwasher, washer and dryer in the basement, backyard with porch, tiled patio, and a small garden area. It’s spacious, with a good-sized kitchen and living room. The patio is great in the summer. There is one parking spot in our driveway that is unused because it’s a little tricky to back into, but that would be available for you to claim.

The room is unfurnished, it has enough space for a king bed, dresser, nightstand, and tv, it also has a medium-sized closet. There is a private ensuite bathroom.

Rent is $825, and gas, electricity, internet, and yard care add up to an average of about $110 in the winter and $80 in the summer.

The room is month-to-month and available on September 1st. We are ideally looking for someone who will stay through winter 2024.

Things to note: The room is only available for one person, no partners. Our lease does not allow us to have any pets.

About us: We are both young adults who work during the day and keep to ourselves. We are relatively quiet and enjoy doing our own thing. We both enjoy the outdoors and staying active.

You: Preferably a young adult, with similar interests, and at least somewhat social. Must have a stable income and no drug or alcohol problems. We keep the house clean. We like occasionally having friends over so you would have to be ok with a weekend like that here and there. We would love to meet your friends too! There is a basement for storage. Your room has enough space to live comfortably, but not much space to store extra stuff - the point being you can’t have a whole house of furnishings, we already have most things we need (though we could use an extra dish or two).
