Private room available in lovely duplex near Murray Park!

This upstairs bedroom measures 10X11 ft with a walk-in closet at 5X4 ft. This is a temporary lease from 9/1/23-12/1-23, with the expectation of a year lease renewal option at end of current lease. Rent listed includes water, sewage, and trash. Electric, Gas, and Internet are split even 3 ways between roommates.

There are currently two tenants, Ivy and Nick, and we are looking forward to finding someone around the same age (30s) for the third room in this lovely classic unit. There is also a small hypoallergenic doggo (schnauzer/shih tzu mix) that roams freely downstairs. We are not looking to add anymore animals, but the dog will love your company as much or as little as you want.

We are located right off State Street and within a couple minutes’ walk of Murray Park, Intermountain Hospital, and lots of restaurant and entertainment options. This older home does not have central air during the summer and instead we use window units with the ceiling fans downstairs, however heating in the winter is centralized. Downstairs is the shared living areas with a front/dining room, a living room, full kitchen, bathroom and shower, and laundry room in unit. Parking is free for tenants in a private lot behind the building, with a small amount of street parking for guests out front, or more down the street.

We are looking for a full-time working individual who is comfortable living in a shared space and who is mindful of others’ work schedules. We are both LGTBQ + friendly and appreciate a quiet, chill, and clean home. If you are child free and comfortable with a relaxed living space, we invite you to apply!

The kitchen has the basic kitchenware for cooking and eating. Appliances are up to date with the stove, microwave, and fridge. There is a washer and dryer onsite with additional storage in the laundry room. Common spaces are already furnished by one of the current tenants, so we are looking for someone who does not need/have a ton of storage, kitchenware, or clutter.

We try our very best to have open communication and keep things respectful and positive between all three tenants. Nick (he/they) is a full time videogame and dnd enthusiast who works full time, mostly from home. He mostly keeps to his room playing games or out with friends, but is social and friendly at home. Yuuta is a 2+ schnauzer-shihtzu mix, and while he’s cautious at first he quickly warms up for snuggles and fetch.

Ivy has lived at the property for 5 years now and mostly keeps to herself. She works 5 days a week and has been kind enough to furnish most of the common spaces for communal use.
