About the room
This is a single family home with a large backyard and good sized front yard. It is in a very nice part of Mesa within walking distance to the Lightrail, multiple bus stops, and a grocery store/shopping center. Itβs a few minutes from both downtown Mesa and ASU. We are only about 2-3 miles from the 101, 202, and the 60. The room is 10ft x 10ft with a closet and ceiling fan. We have a dresser and a TV/laptop/nightstand that are currently in the room, plus a standing fan for extra air during the summer. (These can all be removed if needed.) All utilities are included in rent as is high speed (fiberoptic) internet. We have a full sized washer/dryer, so no need to go to the laundromat. Itβs possible that utilities may go up in the summer, but it would only be about $20 extra per month. The bathroom is shared with 2 males.
About the roomies
We have four adults ages ranging from 30s to 60s and one 2 year old toddler (the size of a 5-year old). There are 4 cats and a single dog. Myself: 42 year old female. Lesbian, in a relationship. I work from home. I game a little bit and spend most of my free time either up in N. AZ or at home with my nephew/godson. Rain: 45 year old female. Very bisexual, in a relationship. Mother to 2 year old giant toddler. Does not work, but tries to take care of the housework in between chasing the toddler around. Xanthus: 32 year old male. In a relationship with Rain and father to the small ball of chaos that we call a toddler. He works out of the house Tuesday-Saturday. Joe: Retired 63 year old male. Veteran. He has strong opinions on things. He mostly stays in his room and games online or watches movies. Keiran: 2 year old male. A ball of chaos and joy. Heβs only 2 and looks to be at least twice that age. Donβt be deceived by his age, though, because heβs smarter than we give him credit for. He loves to sing. We are all nerds/geeks. Three of us play Dungeons and Dragons on Sundays, we like sci-fi/fantasy. We welcome anyone who would like to join in the campaign. I know that most people are looking for a single roommate situation and having multiple people seems too much. I understand. We are cool folks and we accept just about anyone as long as they are GOOD people.
