Hello! Myself and my other roommate are looking for an animal loving third roommate for our 4 bedroom rental house located in Jeffersontown, KY. Our home is a 22 minute drive from University of Louisville, and a 20 minute drive to Bellarmin University. Looking for a woman 19-26yrs. Our lease ends in October and we are looking to renew our lease for another year. The room is empty and ready for move in now.

We are preferably searching for someone who loves animals, as we have 4 dogs and a cat. Our dogs are very polite, love people, and get along well with other dogs with a proper introduction. 3 of the 4 dogs are service dogs. One is my fully trained service dog, the others being my roommate and I’s service dogs in training. In the past I worked as a professional dog trainer. Our dining room has been turned into a training room, and you would be able to use it as you please. Our 4th bedroom upstairs has been taken over by more dog things. We have a dog treadmill in that room and you would also be welcome to utilize that. Our cat acts like he doesn’t like other cats. So if you have a cat and kept it in your room, it wouldn’t be an issue. Although all of our dogs are very cat friendly. We only have space on our lease for one more pet, either that being a dog or a cat. Pet rent is $40 a month. Service animals and ESAs are exempt with the proper documentation from your doctor.

The house is kept clean and cleanliness is EXTREMELY important to us. This is a non-negotiable. The front room of the home is my office. I work from home doing custom embroidery and digitization. The house is already fully furnished with couches, a large flat screen TV, kitchen appliances, a washer and dryer, vacuum, etc. All you would need is anything being put into your bedroom. We have a spacious fully fenced in backyard. Rent is $531 per person, plus pet fee if applicable. Water typically runs about $40 a person. Internet is $30 per person. Electric can range from $30 per person, up to $60 per person depending on the season. Trash and recycling are included. We have an unfinished basement, which is where the washer and dryer are held. There is lots of storage space in the basement. The home is 1,816sqft. One downside is we only have one full bathroom and one half bathroom, but so far it doesn’t seem like it has caused us any problems.

Myself and my roommate both work in the animal field. Carly, my other roommate works at the Kentucky Humane Society. I work from home making custom gear for service dogs. Everything we do is with our dogs. If you don’t like animals, this is definitely NOT the house for you.
