Peaceful, top floor backroom overlooking the backyard of a 3-bed 1-ba apartment in a quiet side street in Science Hill. Only a couple of blocks off Yale campus, the neighborhood is filled with grad students and heavily patrolled by Yale police.

Across the room, which is 13 by 15, is a back staircase to the off-street parking area/backyard of the house, so if you’re big on privacy, this is the room you want. Oddly shaped with a lot of nooks, a closet and a storage space, you can be as creative as you want to be in this sunny end room. The 1,100-square feet apartment is equipped with a large living room, sunny, spacious kitchen and a full bath. All utilities—gas, electric, and WiFi—are included in the rent.

The last two pics in my ad are for the middle bedroom, which is 12 by 12 for 1,150 all inclusive. This room is also towards the back side of the apartment, so it should be quiet and private—you can sneak in and out of the backdoor.

I’m a mature, quiet, responsible woman with an academic background. Working from home, with loner kinds of hobbies like running, reading, movies and sewing (not quiet quilting yet …), I tend to keep it to myself, though with an occasional (at least once a day) need to socialize even if just a bit—im sociable and social and believe that particularly in a shared living environment communication is indispensable. Open to whole sorts of cultures, though lifestyle-wise, I want to have a roommate with a regular schedule and on the super-quiet side.
