About the room
Looking for a female roommate in a cute little apartment ($840/month + $90 in utilities) in the Chelsea Complex in Brentwood (north central Austin). The room is available for sublet immediately. Full year lease agreements are renewed on November 1.
I’ve lived in this cozy apartment for four years and love it! You’ll have the larger of the two bedrooms. The complex has a full gym, gated parking, and 2 lovely pools and is a short commute to downtown and campus.
I’m looking for someone who is respectful, considerate, and a good communicator. I get along best with people who are generous and hospitable. Must be neat/clean (in common areas) and okay with sharing a small space. I’m passionate about limiting our footprint on the environment and hope you are, too – together we can recycle, compost, and stock the apartment with eco-friendly items. I’ve found things run most smoothly in this 2-bed/1-bath apartment when we share in household chores and in replenishing household items. I don’t smoke (this is a cigarette, cannabis, and other hard drug-free apartment), will drink socially, and am not a big partier. Cats are welcome.
Please contact me for further information. I look forward to meeting you!

About the roomies
I’m a 35-year-old woman and a native Texan, and I’ve been in Austin for about 11 years. I’m a graduate of the UT School of Social Work program and have a private therapy practice. Outside of work I love hanging with friends, cooking, reading, coffee, watching TV, and contributing to environmental/racial/LGBTQ justice efforts.
