Please note- This is a 2-unit split-level house. The bottom unit has been rented, which has allowed the rent to be reduced from $2500 to $1800. She is a 29 year old former teacher, current bartender and is a sweet, responsible, and respectful young woman, and she has her own living space, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette downstairs. She does have access to the laundry area, the dishwasher, occasional oven use, and the backyard, but everything else and all the space upstairs is entirely yours. Additionally, in my experience living above her, she only cooks maybe twice a month, as she works in a restaurant/bar and often eats there or makes something simple downstairs in her apartment kitchenette. She can pass a background check, loves kids, and very rarely has anybody over. She has a miniature daschund service animal who stays downstairs, is very well trained, and loves everybody. He gets along well with cats, as she used to have a cat and live with roommates who had cats. He also does well with other dogs, as I currently have a large golden lab. I give her my full recommendation as both a landlord and as someone who has lived above her
