Howdy! I’m Corey and I live near UTEP in Sunset Heights with my dog, looking for a roommate for the spare bedroom. The unit is a cute older duplex apartment with two bedrooms and one bath. The room isn’t huge but has really nice natural light and a two-door sliding closet.

There’s a little yard, a decent-sized covered patio, and a washer and dryer. It’s pretty much furnished except for the spare room, but I’m happy to move things around and make it more of a shared space!

Me? As far as lifestyle goes, I’m fairly laid back. I’m 7 months sober from alcohol but I do smoke cannabis. Currently working as a server and enjoy creative endeavors, like playing the banjo or an art project, and being active when it’s not one thousand degrees outside. I’m just trying to save some money and figured getting a roommate sounded better than moving in with my mother (lol)

I’m big on keeping the common areas clean. I try hard to practice good etiquette and observe the golden rule. If there’s a disagreement, let’s talk about it before it becomes a problem! Life is hard enough, I ain’t trying to make our home anything but a refuge and place of peace :)

My dog Zelda is of medium size and pretty friendly, another dog is welcome as long as they get along. Probably can’t accept someone with more than one dog, I’m not crazy about cats but it’s not a dealbreaker.
