Barbie's room

This place is about a 15 minute walk from Little Italy/Mission Hills (think Ballast Point, Nolita Hall, James Coffee Co., AeroClub). Since we’re up on a hill, we’ve also got beautiful views of the bay (& the airport - it is a bit noisy but you get used to it) and fireworks at Seaworld in the summer. 🙂

The house gets good lighting and a nice breeze in the summer (plus theres 1 private patio and downstairs outside with laundry/drier which charges about 4.50 a load wash/dry) & the common areas are completely furnished. The bedroom (unfurnished) has ample closet space, a ceiling fan, & one window. There’s only one bathroom and we would be sharing it, I usually wake up around 530am to get ready for work/school and will need it until I leave on certain days.

Our neighborhood is residential so it’s generally safe & quiet. There’s tons of street parking in addition to the two designated spots we have.

I have received a lot of interest in this listing but will only be considering candidates who:

• Are looking for a long term rental
• Works in an office/not at home
• Are generally respectful & considerate of others’ & their belongings
• Proactively participates in household chores & festivities
• Is likeminded when it comes to lifestyle values (e.g. COVID isn’t a conspiracy, recycling is important, being a dick isn’t cool, etc.)
• Doesn’t have any fur babies or homophobic boyfriends 😕

The lease would officially start on 9/1 with a monthly rent of $1,335 ($1300 rent+$35 water) but we may have some flexibility as we get closer to month’s end. Below are the additional charges we incur monthly for your consideration:

• SDGE: $100-$300 split 1/3 (unless you have an EV then split evenly)
• Cleaner: $120 split evenly

It’s just me. I am 27 Female, I work part time and school part time. I am very clean, quiet, and respectful of others space. I prefer to have someone who does not work from home since I do go to school few days out of the week and it’s online. Need someone quiet, clean, and respectful.
