Searching for a respectful, quiet, friendly, professional who will rent a spare bedroom in my home. This is a furnished bedroom in a 2 bedroom apartment in the Riverdale neighborhood. Our home is in the vicinity of the Riverdale Y, Manhattan College, Fieldston School, Wavehill Public Garden, Van Cortland park and Horace Mann. There are many shops and restaurants in Riverdale Ave, a 10 minute walk from the apartment. We are a 15 minute cab ride away from Inwood and Washington Heights (where you will find amazing Dominican and other Latin restaurants). The apartment is nicely painted and decorated, with a Queen size bed, dresser, night table, portable air conditioner/dehumidifier, internet, basic TV and cable. Current tenants include a professional adult and a retired female senior. Neighbors are friendly, quiet and respectful. Laundryroom onsite. Part time doorman who receives packages. Indoor and outdoor parking available for additional fee.

You will have access to the bathroom and kitchen. No smoking. Vegetarian preferred. Cooking of chicken, fish or white meat okay. No red meat. No loud music or visitors allowed.

Professional in her 40’s, and second roommate is a retired senior. Social worker who enjoys spiritual indian music, and meditation.
