Octavian's room

The rent includes high speed internet, all utilities, regular professional cleaning services, and basic sundries for the household. The kitchen is fully equipped. You also have the use of a fully furnished living room with a large television and a dining room. The patio in the back has chairs and a gas grill for your use. Laundry facilities are also available in the basement.

Amazing location and incredible access to public transportation! We are one block from the X2 bus stop and the H Street streetcar. Both will take you through the H Street corridor with Whole Foods, many bars/restaurants/gyms/shops to Union Station metro. The X2 bus takes you into the heart of DC by the White House and downtown. Walk .8 mile to the silver/blue/orange line metro for direct access to DCA and Dulles. There’s also a Capital Bikeshare nearby.

We are next to the RFK fields where you have access to trails for biking, running, and walking. There’s a disc golf course and outdoor exercise equipment there. Easy access to the RFK festival grounds.

The shared bathroom is large with a skylight, clawfoot tub, and rainfall shower. Each person gets their own sink, medicine cabinet, drawer, and undersink cabinet.

Room A is about 118 square feet and has three closets. One closet with a double rod and shelves. The other two closets are an IKEA system with clothes rod, many shelves, and 8 drawers. You have individual room A/C units and a ceiling fan so you can control your climate. Each room comes with a lock you can lock the room from the outside and from the inside to guarantee your privacy.

Room B is 131 square feet divided into two adjoining rooms. There is a single closet and a large storage nook. The room as its own A/C unit and ceiling fan. The door has a lock you can lock from both the inside and the outside to guarantee your privacy.

I am a professor who likes to do quiet things at home (read, puzzles, writing, cooking/baking, television). I prefer to socialize outside the home. I work some of the time from home and travel often. I consider myself a reasonably clean and laidback person.
