1 enormous (24’x9’) furnished bedroom available for sublet starting September 1st in a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment in Crown Heights, Brooklyn on the edge of Prospect Lefferts Garden. I’m going out of town for awhile and I’m flexible on dates. The room is $1375, WHICH INCLUDES WIFI AND UTILITIES. I will also need one month security deposit. There is only one other apartment in the building. 24 hour Laundromat 2 doors down. Unfortunately, no pets, couples or smoking. The kitchen and living room/dining room is well stocked, so you will just have to bring yourself.

About the area: The apartment is located a 10 minute walk from Prospect Park. The 2/5 trains are 1 minute walk, as well as the B43 and B44 buses. We have a Chase bank across the street, and coffee shops minutes away. The famous Glorias restaurant is next door. You can Google the controversy surrounding the other location–it’s wild.

The room: The enormous 24’x9’ bedroom has 2 windows and a big closet. It will be furnished with a queen bed, side table, desk, dresser, couch and chair. There is a built in bookshelf in the hallway that we share if you have books.

Who are you: Please be clean and respectful of the space and each other. Vaccinated and boosted is a must. If interested in the apartment, please send me a message about yourself, when you want to move in, and duration of stay.

Riley is in his mid twenties, works at a coffee shop and studies English at Columbia University. He enjoys exploring the city, reading and watching independent film. The other roommate Daniel is in his early twenties, a masters student at Parsons studying Fashion Studies and he also works at Trader Joes. His interests include drag, theater and Capybaras. LGBTQIA friendly is a must. This is not a party home-people go out to socialize and are usually quite busy.
