About the room
I am renting out the entire third floor of my Northside home, unfurnished. It is a single room which is about 770 square feet.
The room is filled with original features including hardwood flooring, a mural, and large windows. There is a lot of natural light in the room. The room has central air conditioning and baseboard heating. It is super cool in the summer.
The house itself is a beautiful historical house with lots of original features and modern updates. It is located in a quiet street in Northsideโapprox. 15 minute walk from Hamilton Avenue and good transportation links.
There is heating throughout the house. There is window AC on the first floor and central air on the second and third floor.
There is a covered front porch. The back yard is fully fenced in and has a deck, hammock, small dining table, and mature trees which over great shade cover.
There is a first floor bathroom with a large tub and shower. The second floor has a tiled bathroom with lots of space and stained glass windows. There is a clawfoot tub but no shower
The kitchen has updated appliances including a large fridge, an oven, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. I also have an air-fryer, blender, toaster, and kettle which you would be welcome to use. The kitchen has lots of storage so cupboard. space should not be an issue.
There is an unfinished but dry basement. The washer and dryer is located here. The basement is probably about 800 square feet and you would be welcome to use it to store anything.
There is on-street parking which is readily available. There is always a spot in-front of the house.
The room is available for immediate move-in.
About the roomies
My name is Lilly (she/her). I just moved to Northside after a few years in Arizona and England. I am about to start my doctorate at UC. I would describe myself as a chatty-introvert. I would not mind talking with a roommate but I am equally comfortable being more distant.
I live with my two large and friendly dogs. I have a basset hound named Winnie (65 pounds) and a Great Pyrenees named Elvis (130 pounds). They are low energy dogs that spend most of their days lounging. They will bark when I come home for about a minute, but other than that they are pretty quiet and chill. They are both super friendly and like belly rubs, people, and other animals. However, I do not wish to live with anymore pets at this point. I will considering making an exception for a self-behaved dog if you will be at home most of the time and all the pups get along.
Please no smoking on the property
Please message me with any questions or to arrange a tour :) My schedule is relatively open for the next few weeks
