Hello! We are a warm, friendly household looking for one more housemate to move in August 1st.

The Room:

The bedroom is a sunny 10’ x 10’ room with high ceilings, up one flight of stairs. You would share a bathroom, which includes a full-sized bathtub/shower combo, with one person.

The House:

Our home is right between two parks in Bernal Heights, which is a quiet, residential neighborhood just a few blocks away from the Mission. It’s a 20 minute walk to the 24th St. BART station.

The house features ample common space, including: a dining room with seating area and crafting nook, a living room with a 180° view of San Francisco, a Jacuzzi tub, a patio with a garden, and a roof deck. The house has a washer and dryer, garage for extra storage space, and a shared driveway. There’s usually plenty of street parking nearby as well.

We usually share the cost of a house cleaner (~$45 / person) every month on top of usual utilities.

We are a scent-light home due to sensitivities (no incense or strongly scented candles, shared house products are fragrance-free or low scent etc), and do not allow furry pets of any kind due to allergies. No smoking (marijuana is fine, outside of the house).

Your Potential Roommates:

S (they/them) is a white queer nonbinary 28 year old who loves plants, skating, and (vegetarian) food. They work as a software engineer, sometimes at home and sometimes in the office. They are kind, direct, deeply dedicated to friends and community, and generally good at fixing and organizing stuff. They cannot stand diet culture, fat shaming, or mansplaining!

Z (she/her) is a 30-something queer woman that works as a travel manager. She is well-traveled (has lived in 5 countries), but San Francisco has always been her soul city. Her hobbies include cycling around sf, hiking, swimming, veg picnics with friends, and daytime dance parties.

C (she/her) recently moved into the house and absolutely loves living here with S & Z. She is a movement artist who spent years in the professional dance world and recently passed her 40th birthday. She is currently training in an awareness and somatic discipline called Feldenkrais which she loves to share. She adores thoughtful, value-centered people and cares a lot about animals and the planetary ecosystem. She enjoys music, history, design, and checking what’s new in the vegan junk food space.

We value a sense of community at home and enjoy spending time together, though we all have our own separate things going on. We love excellent communication skills!

COVID Notes: We are all vaxxed and boosted, and still careful about masking indoors in crowded situations such as public transit, airplanes, etc.
