Hello! I am looking for a new roommate to sign a lease with me in the 3br 2ba house I rent. Total rent is $1150, Internet is $50 and utilities fluctuate from from $100 to $330/month. Move in date can be 8’01/2023 .

The open room faces south and gets plenty of light. It is about 12 x 12 so pretty good size. The closet has lots of space. There is significant storage space throughout the house including the basement where I have built a large loft style storage shelf. The house has a nice back yard for the summer time. There are two full bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. There is a one car garage and an additional parking space in the back, inside a gate.

The house is located near Lexington PKWY and University ave in Midway, Saint Paul. Close to ALDI (three blocks, it’s where I shop), Target, Cub, the light rail stop and I94. It is a great central location, ten minutes drive from DT Saint Paul and 15 minutes to DT Minneapolis. The great neighbors are perk of living here and the neighborhood is nice. Pets may be negotiable with my landlord (which I hope to change…) but the current situation is NO PETS.

Any person with substance abuse issues who cannot be around alcohol should not consider this as an option. There will be a process of vetting based on ability to pay rent, credit and criminal history. It is not a black and white process but if you have horrible credit history, several evictions and a violent criminal record my landlord isn’t going to want to sign a lease…

My name is Matt and I’m 38 years old. I run a small business and drive Uber to fill out my income while I am taking classes at Hennepin Tech. I play music in a group and I like to be social and have friends over from time to time. I like to cook and often share extra with my room mate. I like to garden a bit, keep my plants alive, camp and travel. I speak English and decent Spanish. I would prefer a room mate near my age but I am open to any room mate that is respectful and cleans up after themselves.
