Looking for roommate to move into private unfurnished room in bright and spacious second floor apartment in a historic two-family home. 5 minute walk from Brookline Village shops and MBTA Stop. Lots of nearby parks and greenspaces for walking, jogging, and cycling.

Room can comfortably fit queen bed, dresser, side tables. Has one closet. See photo showing room when it was furnished.

Fully furnished shared full bathroom, large kitchen and pantry, dining room, office and living room. There is also an unfurnished balcony. Storage and laundry in the basement.

One off-street parking spot in tandem driveway included. 2 hour free parking for guests along road. No frequent overnight guests without discussion.

Month-to-month lease but can discuss longer lease if needed. First and last month rent due at signing. Rent does not including Wi-Fi, electric, or oil for heat. Wifi is $25 per person and electric is usually around $50 per person depending on usage. Heating cost vary more based on usage and oil prices but generally around $300 per person every 6-8 weeks during the cold season, so we usually only get deliveries twice a year. The tank is currently half full, so will not likely need another delivery until December.

I am a 29 year old woman who works full time 8-5 outside of the home. I have 2-3 virtual evening meetings per month that I take from home. I enjoy writing, playing video games, baking and cooking. I occasionally have friends over but not frequently.

My dog is a sweet and cuddly 3 year old 45 lb rhodesian ridgeback/southern cur mix. One other well socialized dog welcome with introductions since she loves other dogs. She is in daycare during the day with many other dogs so she is very well socialized.

My 34 year old male partner stays over every other weekend as we are long distance so must be comfortable with that as well. He is very respectful and helps around the house when he is here. He sometimes brings his own dog as well who is very well behaved and friendly.
