3 beds, 1 bathroom, large living room, kitchen (with dishwasher), basement (with laundry room+movie room), garage, backyard and small frontyard.

We are looking for someone to take over the lease of our departing roommate, in a house in Richmond. Start date: 1st of September (negociable) Rent is $848 per person plus utilities/internet (which have been running us about $100/month per person on average).

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, between Hawthorne and Division. It is a great location, only 5 minutes away from many trifts stores, gift shops, book stores, restaurants, grocery stores, etc.

Me (F, 30) and my friend (F, 31) are both teachers (we are also both French, please don’t hold it against us). Our ideal roommate would be someone kind and respectful who does not mind splitting the chores (which include minimal yardwork). All of our previous roommates were friends and we would love to find someone who likes hanging out and doing things together occasionally. We think we would prefer sharing the space with a woman/non-binary person in their mid-twenties to mid-thirties (but not a deal breaker of you aren’t some of these things).

Although we do throw the occasional party and like having friends over on occasions, we typically do not have many people over every weekend or listen to loud music… We do enjoy spending quiet time at home and sharing the main living space (i.e. we are no longer party animals). We sometimes have family/friends from abroad staying over for a few days, so having overnight guests is a-okay as long as we are all aware and discussed it.
