Hey there! My dog Roux and I are offering an 11x11 room at the meadows apartments in West Asheville for $800 a month not including utilities.

About the Apartment and room. The apartment is decently spacious at 1040 square feet and has a sun room, dining/living room and nice kitchen that will soon be renovated with new countertops, storage and appliances along with other amenities by the apartment complex as it comes under new ownership. You’ll have your own 11x11 square foot room with a large window and a nice larger sized closet. Down the hall is a full bathroom with a shared shower, other than that the bathroom is for guests and yourself alone since there is a small half bath in my room. The complex itself is quiet and full of trees while also being less than ten minutes from downtown and west Asheville. It’s important to note that the complex is being renovated and will include a new gym and pool area as well.

About Roux and Myself. Hey there! My name is Grayson and I’m an outdoorsy and nerdy queer man that’s been calling Asheville home for the last five years! I work part of the week as a historical interpreter at the Biltmore house while also making and selling art around the Asheville area. I enjoy a lot of things like cooking, hiking, plant care, and hanging out in general. While at home I enjoy a relaxed and happy environment and am looking for someone who appreciates the same. I also enjoy cooking and social time in the living room but fully understand how nice some private time can be as well. Roux is an incredibly friendly Blue heeler that falls in love with everyone she meets. She can however be pretty hyper around other pets so I am looking to keep this as a one pet household. She enjoys play time inside or out, but also enjoys a nice relaxing rainy day in.

What we’re looking for. A stable income professional roommate that values open and relaxed communication while also respecting boundaries, also hopefully a new friend :). I like to think the home has a warm happy presence and would love to have someone who is looking for the same. I’m also a fan of staying in for movie nights or going out for dinner and a drink around town on occasion. Ideally someone who is looking for a long term stay and willing to sign a lease down the line is best.
