Caroline's room

This apartment is just south of campus. I feel like it’s a pretty nice apartment and it’s one of the quieter ones I’ve lived at. There’s a kitchen with everything you should need, a washer and dryer inside the apartment, a shared bathroom, and a deck. There’s two rooms: one on ground floor (the apartment entrance is on ground floor) and the other up a little higher (the apartment is on a hill). There’s a wifi bill and an electric bill (I’ve been paying one and my roommate the other).

Hello! My name is Caroline (she/her)! I’m a 24 year old trans girl, neurodivergent, and pan. I’ve recently graduated and I have an (very) early morning job at Fred Meyer (so just be aware of that; I wake up at 2am for work at 4am and go to bed around 5 or 6 pm). I’m also a self-published author who’s published two books (character-driven, hopeful books with mental health themes and queer and neurodiverse characters). When not at my job, I’ll mostly be writing and marketing for my books. I love anime, plus I enjoy reading, I love listening to orchestral music, and I occassionally play videogames (though not much any more). I cook a fair amount. I’m fairly quiet and I’d really like a quiet roommate. I have noise sensitivities. If you want to be friends, I’d be happy to, but I do tend to get anxious around roommates regardless. I think I’ll be a good roommate and if you need anything before or after move-in, just let me know. I’m very people-pleasy and I do my best to be kind, though I’m not always great talking. I want you to be comfortable living here and I hope you will be. Also, please no smoking of any kind or anything similar. If you have any questions, needs, or anything you think we should talk about if you’re considering move-in, please let me know. Oh also, I try to be clean and I usually do my best to clean once-a-week, but I don’t always. I have a preference for people who are queer and / or neurodivergent, but you don’t need to be (additional preference for women (trans women welcome :) ), femme-aligned people, and nonbinary people). I’ll want to set up a time to meet at the apartment before making a decision. The lease is year-long, starting on September 1st. Also, just a note that most of the furniture and decorations in the living room are my roommates (besides the character art prints). I have a glass table in my room that I can move out, but otherwise, I don’t currently have much to put in the living room and it may be a little empty on move-in.
